Breaking: Accountant-general Gets Suspended Over Fraud by Finance Minister

We reports that the accountant-general got Suspended Over Fraud by Finance Minister.

Ahmed Idris who is the Accountant General of the Federation, has been suspended indefinitely.

Newsmax understands that he was suspended today Wednesday by Zainab Ahmed, the Minister of Finance, budget and National Planning.

Idris who just got indictment for fraud worth NGN80 billion by EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission), got suspended. Idris arrest was confirmed on Monday by EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwajaren.

It was confirmed by the anti-graft agency that Ahmed Idris diverted funds and laundered NGN80 Billion, failed to acknowledge the invitation by the EFCC and he was arrested afterwards.
