The National Leader of All Progressives Congress and a presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, has expressed confidence in winning the coming presidential election in 2023.
He said with the “strong support” of the masses, winning the election is not negotiable.
The APC leader spoke when he visited a former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja in his Ibadan resident.
He said the calls from Nigerians had made him come out for the race.
Speaking on the challenge by other aspirants that would come out for the same aspiration, Tinubu said “Life is a challenge, and you must be ready to confront challenges and overcome. I have the confidence that I will overcome any form of challenge.
“The reactions of critical stakeholders to my presidential ambition have been very positive, encouraging, and overwhelming and these have spurred me on with the strong conviction that we would succeed and emerge victorious after the election.
“We are forging ahead and with the strong support of the masses of Nigerians, we are going to achieve a resounding victory.”
The former Lagos State governor had informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to succeed him after the expiration of his tenure in 2023.
